February 12th, 2023 Announcements

  • Join us for a Soup and Salad Fellowship Meal between the Worship Service and Congregational Meeting on Sunday, February 26th.  A sign up sheet will be available in the Worship Center.

  • Save the date for our Annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday, February 26th.  The purpose of the annual meeting is to celebrate the ministry of the past year and cast vision for the next year.

January 29th, 2023 Announcements

  • 10 volunteers are needed to help with the HAY lunch from 10:00am - 1:00pm on Thursday, February 2nd at Cross Point. Contact Dede H if you can help by making sandwiches, setting up the serving area and serving food to the high school students.

The church has purchased some equipment, so it does not all have to be done by shovel unless you want to. 

January 22nd, 2023 Announcements

  • Pastor Mike will be out of the office this week from January 23 – 26.  The office will be closed Tuesday and Thursday.  Carrie will be in the office Monday 1-5pm, Wednesday 1-4pm and Friday 9am - Noon. Please contact an elder or deacon/ess for any urgent needs.

  • A service will be held at our regular time on New Year's Day.  There will be Children's Church and nursery provided during the sermon.

  • "Ewe" are invited to the celebration of marriage for Edith K and Jared N on January 1st 2023!  Jared & Edith will have their marriage ceremony after the Sunday worship service followed by a potluck reception with pulled lamb as the main dish.  "Fleece" bring a side dish to share.  The bride and groom have been richly blessed and request no presents.  If you wish to honor them, consider donating or sponsoring a child through World Vision.  The gift catalog can be found online at donate.worldvision.org or call 1-800-426-5753.

  • A Women's Winter Bible Study will be starting in January.  This will be a 10 week video series taught by Jen Wilkin.  Abide - A study of 1, 2 & 3 John.  Wednesday nights 6:30 - 8:15pm and Thursday mornings 10:00 - 11:45am starting January 11th & 12th.  Cost is $25.  RSVP by January 2nd to Patti K.

  • Share the story of Jesus with others using a special booklet from Our Daily Bread Ministries "Jesus - Light of the World: 10 Christmas Reflections on the Life and Light of Christ" available in the Worship Center foyer and church office. It features stores that will inspire you and others who read it with the true message of Christmas.

  • Anyone interested in going on a Mission Trip next June 13-18 to Appalachia can contact Ann B.

  • Continue to check the "I Have, I Need" message board located in the Worship Center.  Please include your name and contact number, and add a description of what you "Have" to donate, or what you "Need".  This is a free board...no money given, no money received.

  • Are you going to be out of town?  If you miss a Sunday service, there are extra bulletins from the previous two weeks in a folder in the front of the mailbox bin in the Worship Center foyer.  Service live streams, sermon notes and reflection questions as well as announcements are all available on the church website.

  • Want to view our HEFC Main Calendar?  Check out our website at www.hutchefree.org under the INFO tab!  This calendar does not include our small groups.  Please check the Small Group flier in the Worship Center and contact a small group leader for specific dates/times/locations/topics.

December 5th 2022 Announcements

  • The annual Cookie Day will be on Wednesday, December 7th at 10am in the Ministry Center Commons Area. Ladies can bring their prebaked cookies/bars/treats and package them together to be given to families and individuals who need to feel the love of Jesus Christ this Christmas season. Lunch will be provided. Contact Dede H with questions.

  • Join us on December 11th for the "Candles in the Churchyard" Kids' Christmas Program during our worship service! Rehearsal is December 10th, 10-11:30 am. Contact Beth or Elyse with questions or if you're unable to participate.
