Common Cup is now collecting new and gently used winter coats, snow pants, boots, waterproof gloves and mittens till Oct 6. Donated items need to be clean and dry. Thank you for your help.
Join us for the HEFC CC Winter-wear Fashion Show, immediately following the Fellowship Break on 9/29/24!!! At HEFC, we want to partner with Common Cup to reach those in need in the Hutchinson area by collecting gently used winter-wear to be distributed by Common Cup on/after 10/17. Please drop off your donations this month or by the start of the service that morning to be included in the fashion show, as a way to celebrate what has already been collected and to encourage others in the congregation to bring in additional donations the following week.
The Missions and Outreach Team would like to suggest the formation of a work group to plan events to honor 25 years of HEFC. In April 2000 HEFC held their first public worship service. We are hoping to honor the legacy of our local body through service, celebration and stories. The hope is to have a series of events, and we need a group of people committed to making this a reality.
