October is Pastor Appreciation Month! This is our chance as church members to show our joy and gratitude for our servant leaders who work tirelessly for the gospel. Consider how you can use your personal gifts, talents, resources, and words of encouragement to show thanks to Pastor Mike and his family.
Pastor Mike is unavailable Oct 17-25. The church office will be closed Tuesday, Oct 24. Carrie will be in the office her regular hours: Mondays 1-5pm, Wednesdays & Fridays 1-4pm. Please reach out to an Elder or Deacon(ess) or your small group leader with any urgent needs.
Join us for a Family Friendly Packing Event on Sunday, October 29th for Food 4 Kidz after the service till about 1:00pm in the Gathering Room! If you are interested in packing food or helping with snacks for the event, please reach out to Nicole G or the office.
The next Craft & Create Weekend will be November 3rd & 4th. Friday 6pm - 10pm and Saturday 9am - 5pm. Ladies can bring their own beverage, snack to share, money for lunch on Saturday, project(s) to work on and supplies (Cutting mats, irons & ironing board provided). Contact Carrie S to reserve a table (or chair). Invite a friend and come when you can, leave when you must!
Save the date for our Thanksgiving Service, Fellowship Meal and November Business Meeting on Sunday, November 19th.
The Lord uses shoebox gifts to bless children around the world and prepare them to hear the Good News of Jesus. This year marks 30 years since Samaritan’s Purse began collecting shoeboxes. Please prayerfully consider taking a box or two from the table in the church entry. There is information about what to pack and NOT pack for Operation Christmas Child. Filled boxes will be collected at HEFC on November 19.
